Chris (Spugs) is an Award winning Tattooer and Fine Artist from Boston MA.

​

Mostly known for abstract texture based paintings, he has brought a hybrid style of painting and illustration and fused it into his tattooing style. He attended MassArt for a year before finishing a Double Major / Double Minor in Painting and Illustration from Salem University and became a gallery contracted Fine Art painter earlier in life. He then apprenticed for 2 years with Juli in 2012 and has been tattooing at Juli Moon Studio in Lynn, MA ever since. Currently Chris specializes in watercolor style and large japanese art but really enjoys a wide variety of styles and subjects.
